2014 Olympics: Women’s Figure Skating Dresses

BY TARA BURKE

Like many of you I’m sure, my T.V. has not strayed away from the 2014 Winter Olympics and will not for the next few weeks. Although I love all the different winter games, figure skating is one of my favorites. With a background in ballet and cheerleading, it is the winter sport I identify with most, plus it’s a sport that also factors in fashion! So far, I’m really enjoying the new ice skating team event and there have been some pretty gorgeous dresses worn by the athletes, both in the Olympics and in other competitions this year. The dress that I particularly love was worn by Mao Asada of Japan. The details are simply breathtaking!

Another one of my favorites is this piece worn by Mao Asada’s teammate, Akiko Suzuki.

Here are a couple more beauties from this year’s competitions and the Olympics:

It’s actually very complicated in this full of activity life to listen
news on TV, therefore I only use internet for that purpose, and take the most up-to-date information.
