One of our favorite things to do is take a drive and grab lunch wherever we end up. While visiting home one weekend our stepdad took us to lunch at Grapevine Farms in Cobleskill, NY which was one of his random drive finds. It is a cute country bistro with fresh-made sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts. It also is a store that has a ton of finely curated knick-knacks, bags, candles and accessories. The store is actually pretty large with multiple rooms and floors of merchandise. There were so many unique things that would make perfect little gifts.
We took a look at the front end of the store before heading to the bistro. Cailin ordered the turkey sandwich special which came with stuffing and cranberry mayonnaise on a ciabatta roll. Similarly, I got The Gobbler, a turkey sandwich with cranberry mayonnaise, provolone, lettuce and tomato on a baguette. It usually comes on ciabatta, but their baguettes are so fresh that I had to get it on one! Our stepdad got the Farmhouse Salad and added the seared salmon. Everything was delicious. To finish I got a slice of Carrot Cake, Cailin got the Chocolate Lovin’ Spoon Cake and our Stepdad got the Flourless Chocolate Torte.
After leisurely sipping our coffee we explored the rest of the store. Cailin loved this Ginger Macaron scented candle! It’s always great to find local places like Grapevine Farms and support their business. If you’re ever in the area make sure to stop by for a fun afternoon.
Thank You so much Tara for your wonderful write up and review about Grapevine Farms!
