Going to DuBois Farm in Highland, NY has been a family tradition for us every October. This past week we kept up the tradition and went to do some apple picking! We particularly like DuBois Farm because you can also pick pears, grapes, plums and a lot of other fruit.
They have a huge variety of apples, including apples that resemble pears! It was more tart than the typical apple, but was still juicy and flavorful. It was Cailin’s favorite of the day.
DuBois also has a corn maze, tractor rides, barbecue on the weekends and activities for children. We went on a Saturday and thought it would be packed beyond belief. It was really busy, but the orchard is large enough that you can even find whole rows of trees to yourself.
Now on to the fashion! Cailin wore a hot pink and beige short sleeve sweater, faux leather motorcycle jacket, jeans and her suede tassel Converse. She accessorized with an apple necklace to fit the occasion perfectly.
I wore a jean jacket, a cropped white tee and floral cuffed pants. The cropped tee also has a flower trim along the square neckline which gives it a retro touch. I’m also so in love with cuffed pants because they are so comfy and I don’t know about you guys, but after a summer jean hiatus it’s kind of hard to trade in the comfort! I accessorized with Freely Clothing GIVE bracelets which give $2 of every purchase to help you make a difference in others lives.
Overall, we had a really fun time and are certainly enjoying all that fall activities have to offer.
