Favorite Winter Sweater

While in the 12South area of Nashville, (travel posts coming soon!) I found this great chunky sweater for $10! The boutique I got it from, Vinnie Louise, had literally just put up the sale sign as we were walking by, so we got first dibs on all their unique merchandise. This sweater was actually from their girl’s line. If you’re petite you can sometimes get away with purchasing from the larger girl’s sizes, so the sleeves were a little short, but I like quarter length sleeves anyway!

This sweater is warm and cozy, and has become one of my favorite pieces to wear this winter. I like the fact that I don’t have to compromise a stylish cut for comfort with this sweater, as it has both! I paired it with some ripped jeans from Necessary Clothing (love their jeans btw), my new harmonica necklace (another 12South find from White’s Mercantile) and lace up wedges.

Cailin also jumped in for a few pics wearing her chambray shirt with camo elbow patches, stylized leggings (her fave from Necessary as well), a flat brim hat and her Be Still MudLOVE bracelet. What’s super amazing about MudLOVE is that every product purchased provides 1 week of clean water for someone in need through their partnership with Water for Good. It’s definitely a great brand to check out if you’re looking for mugs, accessories, or just a fun way to give back! If you’re in Nashville, you have to swing by 12South to check out the stores above and all the other cool local shops in the area. And finally… if you’re in NYC stop by Necessary Clothing. They are like a higher scale Forever21, complete with all the latest trends at pretty affordable price points.
