I’ve been loving all these 90s trends, especially since I saved a lot of my favorite 90s pieces from my childhood and I have my Mother’s closet to raid! This lilac silk tank top was a piece from my Mom’s wardrobe and it paired perfectly with a simple white tee underneath. This tank also has the most amazing straps in the back which gives it a fun and unique touch.

I kept the rest of the outfit simple with a pair of black jeans, black wedge slides and a silver drop chain necklace from Rue21. Rue21 has some great on-trend accessories that are very inexpensive. I got this necklace for $3 and we’ve gotten a lot of jewelry there for a dolla! When I do buy trendy costume jewelry I typically go for an inexpensive option, so when it goes out of style you’re not left with a bunch of expensive jewelry you no longer want to wear.

As you guys know most of my fashion posts feature clothing I’ve had for years or thrifted, so I found these alternatives to my lilac tank (Option 1 / Option 2) to help ya’ll out if you want to recreate this outfit! Both of these tanks from Forever21 would look great under a tee and work so well for a day to night look.
