I am obsessed with cards. For real, I will give or make cards for any and every occasion when I can! So I was pumped when Paperless Post asked us to test out their site and share our thoughts! I am really big on making my own cards. I took tons of art classes throughout high school and college, so I always have fun taking out the paint or colored pencils and being super extra!
Sometimes though, I just don’t have the time or the supplies with me when I need to send out a card! What I love about Paperless Post, is that everything is so customizable, it’s like you made this card yourself! So if you don’t have the art skills, this is such a cool way to add your own special touch to a card.
I made quite a few cards to see how it all worked and was pumped with the results. First up, I headed to the “Just Because” section and found a cute card for my boyfriend. This one let you customize and add a photo which made this literally the coolest, because you can’t buy a card in the store with someone you know’s face on it!
When TickPick, the no-fee ticket marketplace, asked us what we were wearing for March Madness, we were excited to get a chance to rep our teams! We’ve been Wisconsin Badgers fans since we were younger for both football and basketball, and a few years ago couldn’t stop watching Kansas Jayhawks basketball. So we put a look together for both teams! In these outfits all that’s left to do is chant “Rockchalk Jayhawk, KU!” and “On Wisconsin!”
We love our photos, but in today’s day in age most of them end up stuck on our phones and computers. In turn, when Sweet Pix reached out to us about their photoboards we loved the idea of getting our photos off of our phones and onto our walls! Plus they are giving you guys 25% off your purchase with code CF25! Read on to learn more about our great experience with Sweet Pix!
For this post, we’re excited to team up with the shopping destination, Spring, to share our fall style using clothes you can get from them! Spring is a mobile app that lets you easily search from hundreds of brands to find something you love! Best part, shipping is always free! And they have some pretty amazing clothes, accessories, and decor so that doesn’t hurt either. What we really loved about the app is that you get a customized feed of products based off your interests. You can pick your interests with categories from graphic tees and fair-trade, to backpacks and streetwear! And yes, I couldn’t help but pick all of those. Tara and I each put together a look for you, one fall casual look and one fancier look. All of the products are linked below and go to the Spring website, but be sure to try the app too! Happy Shopping!
When Smartling, a translation software company, asked us to show our own version of multicultural style, we were so excited because it’s the perfect challenge for us! As our mom is from the Philippines, we have some items from there and throughout our grandma’s travels with the Peace Corps, we have gotten clothes from South and Central America as well. When looking through our closets we discovered we actually have a ton of items from different countries! We try to incorporate these articles into our outfits as often as possible and Smartling wanted us to share them with you guys! As Smartling helps companies translate website content into many languages, it was a perfect fit! So Tara and I dug through our wardrobes to find outfits inspired by the trends in different countries.
We’re excited to be collaborating with Fanatics and putting together some looks using their awesome baseball caps. As we both love baseball and go to games every summer, putting together a sporty chic outfit was right up our alley! Fanatics has a ton of choices for every team and the styles go from classic, to distressed, to colorful, and even include snapbacks and winter hats. We had a lot of fun going through the baseball hats and choosing the ones that we each wanted to use for our game day look. As we’re huge New York Mets fans, we both had to pick a Mets hat and create an outfit around it that we would actually wear to Citi Field.
In honor of Warby Parker’s launch of the Beacon Collection, we were asked to team up with the iconic eyewear brand to announce the new line and share our thoughts on the designs. The Beacon Collection got its name from the morning star, which is seen just after sunset or just before sunrise. That’s why Beacon glasses are made to accompany you to those late night dates, all-nighters, and outings with no destination. They can transition seamlessly to wherever you may end up, no matter the time. In all, they were created to reflect and bring out the spontaneity in all of us.
