I know, I know, apple picking season is over and this post is extremely late to the game. For some reason I keep forgetting about these photos until I open my editor and get smacked in the face with them again. Soooo, playing catch up here! Well you guys know that Cailin and I go apple picking every year because we’re from Upstate New York and it’s what we do, haha. If you’ve been following us for awhile you know we usually go downstate. Well this year we kept it local and went to Bowman’s Orchard in Rexford, NY.
Going to DuBois Farm in Highland, NY has been a family tradition for us every October. This past week we kept up the tradition and went to do some apple picking! We particularly like DuBois Farm because you can also pick pears, grapes, plums and a lot of other fruit.
We were back home in Upstate NY for the weekend, so our stepdad treated us to lunch at Man of Kent Tavern in Hoosick Falls. It was a beautiful day so we sat in their outside seating area, which was set up with cute tables and flowers lining the entire porch. Cailin got the Pulled Pork Sandwich, our stepdad got the Rodeo Burger and I got the Colonel’s Special Sandwich. Everything was delicious and we were stuffed to the brim.
